The RainTree Project (RTP) is a comprehensive 12-month program designed to support ex-offenders and their families. With the support of the Yellow Ribbon Fund, this initiative assists individuals recently released from prison by guiding them in overcoming hurdles such as restoring family ties, dealing with social stigma, and building resilience.
This is achieved through the various activities and programmes that help participants Reintegrate and Transform towards achieving Progress for themselves and their families.
Through mentorship, counselling, and skill-building activities, RTP emphasizes targeted support for participants to:
- Reintegrate successfully: Develop practical skills and a supportive social network through volunteering and mentorship, easing their transition back into society.
- Strengthen family connections: Rebuild family bonds, establish vital support systems, and enhance communication among family members.
- Cultivate personal resilience: Gain confidence, emotional resilience, and effective coping skills to navigate life’s challenges.
